2022-2023 South Western Key Club Application
Key Club Applicants: Please submit and mail-in Dues Payment no later than
Friday, May 27th.
Dues should be given to Mrs. Lawrence (502),
checks can be made payable to SW Key Club.
Key Club is an international, student-led organization providing its members with opportunities to perform service, build character, and develop leadership skills. Key Club is a service organization for high school students, which operates under school regulations and draws its members from the student body. The club is a unique organization because it is sponsored by a local Kiwanis club which is composed of leading businessmen and professionals of the community. It functions not only on the local level, but also on a state and international level.
Requirements of a SW Key Club Member:
-Each member is required to perform at least thirty hours of service per school year (15 hrs per semester).
-Each member must pay the $30 dues upon turning in this application. Your dues should be sealed in an envelope with your name. Checks can be
made payable to South Western Key Club.
-Your dues payment pays for your membership on the club, district, and international levels. In addition, part of the money goes toward club
t-shirts and our fund for our adopted child.
-Each member is encouraged to attend at least one Kiwanis meeting during the year.
Membership in the South Western Key Club will be determined by the Key Club Executive Board and Faculty Advisors. You may be asked to complete an interview with the executive board as part of the selection process. If selected, you will receive notification before the start of the 2020-2021 school year via email.
