Officer Training
The purpose of this training session is to familiarize you with the roles and responsibilities that you have been entrusted with. As a student run club, it is important that you are reflecting on your commitments throughout the year and striving to make our club be as strong as possible.
Part One: Officer Descriptions

2. Read through the introduction and then, as a group, watch the General Officer training video found here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiHSre5luIrhvKkLzEQiwGLbhgPfSoAWE.
3. Next, view the video that corresponds with your particular office.
4. Read the NEW requirements for distinguished officers. If your goal is to be recognized as a distinguished officer, identify the items you will attempt to complete to meet the requirements (see handout).

Part Two: Group Planning
Now that you have reviewed the requirements of your individual position, as a board, please discuss the following items. The club secretary should record highlights of this conversation in the meeting minutes.
1. What major projects are coming up in the next few months of school? How will each of us play a role in making these projects successful?
2. What do we plan to do at our next four club meetings. Will we have a special program? Will there be service projects or ice breakers? Who will plan each of these items.
3. Are there concerns about our club operations that need to be addressed? What are they and what can we do about them?
